  • consult with employees to ensure awareness of and commitment to the Policy and the Company's procedures for its implementation
  • ensure that, for all our activities, safety and health hazards and environmental aspects are identified, risks and impacts are assessed, and that risk control measures are implemented
  • select competent contractors and provide them with all necessary information, including definition of Valhalla's HS&E requirements
  • monitor and audit contractors to ensure that they operate in compliance with the principles of Valhalla's Policy and meet the standards required by the Company
  • maintain emergency response plans
  • monitor HS&E performance progressively, with periodic audits and reviews
  • annually conduct management review of performance against objectives, including review of the effectiveness of Policy and the HS&E management system
  • ensure that sufficient resources are made available to implement this Policy.

Valhalla requires each of its contractors and suppliers to:

  • operate an effective HS&E management system relevant to their scope of work or supply
